Windshield Repair
If you have a small crack or chip in your windshield, make sure to have it repaired as soon as possible.
But be aware that even the most advanced glass repair techniques have their limits. So if your windshield is severely damaged, a full replacement may be in your future. Ask your service advisor to have your windshield checked for any cracks or chips that can still be repaired. Because these cracks and chips can severely impact your ability see and may compromise the overall safety of your vehicle.
If a crack is ignored and begins to spread, the entire windshield will have to be replaced.
From a safety standpoint, there is a large safety risk, because a crack in the windshield will limit its ability to protect you. But on the other hand, there is no environmental impact of windshield repair.
